Our Registration, Shipping & Cancellation Policy
All the materials included in any of our courses are to be used only by participants in the programs. These materials are for your sole personal and professional use. Other than as a study aide for the user‚ the contents of the online material may not be reproduced in any form‚ nor may any of the contents be distributed. Your personal password into the Students Corner is not to be shared with any other person‚ entity‚ or company. If Logistics Training Systems discovers or suspects through any means that someone other than the person registered is using‚ has used or may use your passwords‚ or shared the online videos, Logistics Training Systems reserves the right to immediately terminate your access to any online material without notice to you and to deny you further access to courses or seminars. There will be no refunds issued to those so terminated. You must provide us with a current email address and phone number, failure to do so will result in your books being held at our warehouse, until our office is contacted with a working email address and phone number. Your password is good for one semester or from the day you receive your study materials until the day of that semester's exam‚ either April or October. Payment must be received in full for materials to be sent out. All orders are subject to inventory availability.
For the the October 2017 StudentS Basic Study At home and Enhanced Online Programs:
We will give you a WEEK (five business days) to look over all the materials and decide if this is the program for you. If you decide it is not - just return it‚ in good order‚ for a refund‚ less shipping and restocking fees - see below: Shipping Returns. There will be no refunds after the week (five business days) has expired. Any downloading or use of the online information in the Students Corner including but not limited to textbook files‚ course PDF files‚ and the MP3 files will be considered a waiver of this time period‚ and there will be no refunds thereafter. Although a company‚ organization‚ or some other entity may provide the funds to purchase a program‚ the person registered is to be the sole recipient of the study materials‚ the passwords‚ and or seminars. There will be no replacement or substitution of personnel once the passwords have been issued.
For the Distance Learning Program:
We will give you a WEEK (five business days) to look over all the materials and decide if this is the program for you. If you decide it is not - just return it‚ in good order‚ for a refund less shipping and restocking fees-see below: Shipping Returns. There will be no refunds after that time period. Any submission of lessons or any downloading or use of the online information in the Students Corner including‚ but not limited to textbook files‚ course PDF files‚ video files‚ and the MP3 files will be considered a waiver of this time period‚ and there will be no refunds thereafter. This course must be completed and the final test sent in before the stated course closure. There will be no extensions past that date. Any homework assignments or tests sent in after that date will not be graded. A Certificate will not be sent out to any registrant who has not completed the course. Completion is defined as: the submitting of all after chapter quizzes‚ the mid-term and the final exam before the last stated day of the program.
For the Five Day Classroom Programs:
We will give you a WEEK (five business days) to look over all the materials and decide if this is the program for you. If you decide it is not - just return it‚ in good order‚ for a refund less shipping and restocking fees-see below: Shipping Returns. There will be no refunds after the week (five business days) has expired. Any submission of lessons or any downloading or use of the online information in the Students Corner including but not limited to textbook files‚ course PDF files‚ video files‚ and the MP3 files will be considered a waiver of this time period‚ and there will be no refunds thereafter. Because class size is limited‚ Logistics Training Systems reserves the right to close registrations before the advertised date‚ once the quota has been filled.
For the 5 Day Plus Distance Learning Only:
Any submission of lessons will be deemed a waiver of the five day return policy. The Distance Learning phase of the program must be completed by the stated course closure. Any homework assignment or tests sent in after that date will not be corrected.
For Both Five Day Classroom Programs:
If you are unable to attend the classroom instruction in Orlando‚ you can re-register for the following semester's five day classroom session. There will be a $400.00 re-registration fee. This re-registration fee will not include re-entry into the Distance Learning phase of the program‚ if that was your original five day program‚ nor will it include a new set of textbooks. It will include a new password for entry into the Students Corner for the Extended Study Five Day Classroom with Independent Preparation. Necessary updates to your textbook will be posted for you in that Students Corner. To qualify for re-registration you must notify the office by e-mail‚ fax or letter that you will not be attending your scheduled classroom program before the program starts. The $400.00 re-registration fee is due 30 days after the opening of the next immediate registration period for the five day programs. If you fail to attend the subsequent class‚ or you do not send in the re-registration fee‚ you will not be rescheduled for another five day class. If you attend any part of the five day program‚ but are unable to complete the five days‚ it will be the same as completing the five days. However‚ you can join the next class as an Extended Study Student.
For the Miami Program:
The study materials for the pre-class study program will be sent to you upon receipt of payment. We will give you a WEEK (five business days) to look over all the materials and decide if this is the program for you. If you decide it is not - just return it‚ in good order‚ for a refund less shipping and restocking fees-see below: Shipping Returns. There will be no refund after the five day approval period has passed. Any downloading or use of the online information in the Students Corner including but not limited to PDF files and the MP3 files will be considered a waiver of this time period‚ and there will be no refunds thereafter. There will be no refund if you elect to leave the class after the first night's presentation. No Certificate will be given to any registrant who has not completed the course. Completion will be defined solely by the onsite Logistics Training Systems Instructor.
For the Extended Studies Programs:
To be able to register for one of the Extended Studies Programs you must be a previous student of Logistics Training Systems. After registration you will be e-mailed a password into the Extended Studies Students Corner for the program of your choice‚ where you will find any course updates or requirements that you may need for the next semester. There will be no refunds after the password is sent to you. If you join any of the Extended Study Classes and then decide to join another more expensive program‚ the cost of the programs are independent of each other‚ and you will not be given credit for the lesser one toward the more expensive one. Unless separately ordered the Extended Studies Programs do not include new study materials. If you fail to purchase a new set of textbooks, within two weeks of notification that you are required to do so, Logistics Training Systems will impose a twenty percent (20%) course cancellation fee. All refunds will be made by company check within 15 days of notification. There will be no refunds or postponing to a subsequent class if you register for either the 5 Day Classroom or Miami Classroom Extended Studies Program and are unable to attend.
Purchase any one of the Discounted Bundled Programs - The Distance Learning, The Miami Evening program with a Pre-class Study Program, The Independent Study with Five Days, or The Distance Learning with Five Days - and you can continue your studies for FREE, for the next semester with the Extended Studies Enhanced Online Program. You will be sent a new set of passwords into the Students Corner, where you will find the updates between the two semesters. New textbooks and Audio are not included in the Extended Study Enhanced Online Program. To be accepted into the next semester’s FREE Extended Study Enhanced Online Program, you must have: taken all of the quizzes, the midterm, and the final exam, and attended all of the classroom presentations, if your program includes a classroom, and you must send us a copy of your letter of notification containing your test score, from CBP after you take the US Customs Broker Exam. Upon receipt of this letter, you will be sent a new set of passwords into the Students Corner, and you can start your studies again for FREE! These programs are nonrefundable, cannot be returned, and All Sales are Final.

Because these are government publications and are time sensitive‚ all sales are final and all orders are subject to inventory availability.
Shipping and Ordering Online:
Our online credit card processing is done through SSL secure connections with Authorize.net. LTS accepts Visa‚ MasterCard‚ American Express and Discover. Although a company‚ organization‚ or some other entity may provide the funds to purchase a program‚ the person registered is to be the sole recipient of the study materials‚ the passwords‚ and or seminars. There will be no replacement or substitution of personnel once the passwords have been issued. By placing an order you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older and that all the information you are providing‚ including your e-mail address‚ is accurate‚ current and complete. Unless your order is being shipped within the State of North Carolina‚ it is your sole responsibility and not that of Logistics Training Systems to pay any applicable sales and/or use taxes that may arise from your order. All orders of available products are usually packed and and sent out to FedEx within two to three business days. Orders placed Friday after 2 PM EST through Sunday will ship on the second or third business day. No deliveries will be made on Sunday or holidays. Please choose either Overnight or 2nd Day delivery for: Alaska‚ Hawaii‚ Puerto Rico and US Possessions. For international shipments‚ please contact us at Chris@LogisticsTS.com with your name and shipping address‚ and we will give you a quote for shipping to that address. Failure to do so may result in your order being delayed. Ground Service is not available to P.O. Boxes‚ so please supply a physical address for delivery. Some rural addresses may require an additional day for delivery. All orders are shipped out of Connecticut‚ if you require a quick delivery please choose either Overnight or 2nd day delivery. If you choose a residential delivery, and you live in a high density area, make sure that there is someone at the delivery address to receive your package, or call our office for signature delivery. Any lost or stolen packages are your sole responsibility. Logistics Training Systems is NOT responsible for delivered and then stolen packages. Your only recourse, if this occurs, is to contact FedEx directly.
For All the Programs:
Logistics Training Systems will not be liable in any way for any cessation‚ interruption or delay in the performance of its obligations hereunder due to causes beyond its control including‚ but not limited to; power outages; Internet outages; communications outages; fire; flood; earthquakes; storm; hurricanes; tornadoes; war; terrorism; armed conflict; supplier failures; shortages; breaches; or delays. Logistics Training Systems shall take all steps reasonably necessary under the circumstances to mitigate the effects of the force majeure event.
The performance of Logistics Training Systems is subject to acts of God‚ war‚ government regulations‚ disaster‚ strikes‚ civil disorder‚ terrorism‚ and complete curtailment of transportation or other emergencies making it illegal or impossible to hold a class in any advertised location. In such an event‚ prompt notice shall be given of cancellation‚ along with the rescheduling of the class at another time or location. There will be no re-registration fee‚ if Logistics Training Systems cancels because of Force Majeure. However‚ if you miss the subsequent class‚ you will not be rescheduled for another class. Terrorism is defined as acts of persons acting on behalf or in connection with any organization which carries out activities within the United States directed toward the overthrowing or intimidation of the United States government by violence or other force‚ which is intended to cause serious bodily injury. War is that which is declared by Congress.
If you decide to return any of our study materials within the one week decision period‚ you must obtain an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number from Logistics Training Systems‚ Inc. Once a RMA is issued your password into the Students Corner will be voided. The products must be returned to our warehouse within ten days‚ or a refund will not be issued. DO NOT WRITE OR MARK ON THE MATERIALS. All returned products must be in 100% complete condition. Products must not have been written on or defaced. All returns must be prepaid and insured to our returns warehouse. The customer is responsible for shipping returns to our warehouse and all the shipping costs. We ask that shipments to our returns warehouse be sent via UPS‚ FedEx or other traceable method‚ so that you may receive a tracking number which will allow you to be sure that the shipment arrives at its destination. All returns must be sent back within One Week, or Five Business Days, after the RMA has been issued, to receive a refund. Logistics Training Systems‚ Inc. reserves the right to reject any packages that do not meet any of the above criteria. Logistics Training Systems will impose a twenty percent (20%) course cancellation and re-stocking fee on all returns. Refunds will be based on the amount of the course canceled‚ less shipping and restocking fees. After a refund has been processed, Logistics Training Systems‚ Inc. reserves the right to refuse re-admittance into any current or future programs. All refunds will be made by company check within 15 days of returned merchandise being received by our warehouse.
Payment must be received in full before any materials will be sent out. There will be a $30 fee for any returned checks.
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and Logistics Training Systems and supersedes all prior agreements and understandings‚ whether written or oral‚ with respect to the subject matter of this Agreement.
